2nd Battalion 8th Marines Logo

My art talents were discovered at work. Dangit. The result is me painting what ever stupid stuff the battalion commander decides he wants on a whim. In this case, he wanted to paint the logo for the unit that is coming to replace mine. Personaly, I would have painted my units logo up there with pride just so they would have to paint over it. 1st battalion 1st marines was here! Dont you forget it! However, I did include a simplified version of 1/1's logo down with my signature... suck it 2/8!

Other then the politics of it, I am happy how it turned out, even if I was using the worst paint in the world (I swear its crude oil with color.) And I was painting in 130 degree weather with no shade for 8 hours at a time. Least a few people brought me cold water...
